The company Scania published right before Christmas its new book "Truck Stop", a traveller guide describing 32 roadhouses all across Europe. Our roadhouse Melikana was picked as one of the best restaurants from England, Benelux, Germany, Spain, France and Scandinavia.
Scania appreciates most our fast self-service system and the large choice of salads, soups and home-based cakes. The guide also mentions our mini-zoo with our handsome Cameroon goats.
Included in the traveller guide is a recipe from each roadhouse. From Melikana the authors have chosen one of our favorite cakes, the "Fruit Cake Melikana".
